Paul Magno has extensive experience as a non-profit administrator, serving as full-time Business Manager for Rights Action from 1993-7 and part-time until 2008, managing its direct mail and major donor fundraising data and vendors, its annual CFC application and its faith community outreach.  Paul is acquainted with the service-provider as well as the development side of work with the poor, with experience supervising Zacchaeus Community Kitchen in the 1980s and maintaining a family hospitality facility at Dorothy Day Catholic Worker in that same period.  From 1997-2005 he directed the Father McKenna Center at St. Aloysius Church, overseeing all aspects of its mission on behalf of the parish.  This included directing its program of providing services to homeless and low-income people in the North Capitol Street area of downtown Washington as well as its development agenda, doubling its grant-based funding over five years, and regularizing its mail-based fundraising as well.  He negotiated and managed its contracts for government funding for hypothermia services, rent assistance and food assistance.

He can knowledgeably assist with direct mail strategy, management and writing, with targeting and drafting grant applications, with guiding an organization through Combined Federal Campaign application process and other aspects of donor cultivation that can improve an organization’s revenue position
